Sydney-based artist Eliza Gosse creates work that explores life through the lens of architecture. Known for her stylised depictions of post-war and mid-century design, her paintings evoke nostalgia and invite imagined narratives of the people and places within them.
Eliza has exhibited extensively across Australia and internationally. Her work has been recognised with multiple awards and accolades, including two Archibald Prize finalist selections (2022, 2023), two Wynne Prize finalist selections (2020, 2025), the Mosman Alan Gamble Award (2022), and the John Olsen Drawing Prize (2017). In 2024 she was awarded a Bundanon Trust Residency.
For Romy, Eliza reimagines motifs from her celebrated exhibition Roller Skates and Stereo Cassettes Down Ocean Drive (2024). Translating her bold, rhythmic figures into wearable art, she brings the spirit of 1980s Miami into a limited-edition nine-piece collection that celebrates movement, femininity, and individuality.
Phoebe Willis is an Australian artist based in the Northern Rivers, NSW, currently working on the traditional land of the Bundjalung nation.
Willis is known for her bold imagery and intricate storytelling. By weaving together visual elements, she crafts new narratives that emphasise detail and harmony through carefully chosen colour palettes. Her work evolves into abstracted paintings, inviting viewers to engage with the fluidity of both the weaving process and the narratives she develops. This dynamic interplay of colour and form enriches the stories embedded in her art, encouraging exploration and interpretation.
Anouk Colantoni is a Tasmanian artist whose work explores the grey areas of human nature—imperfections, vulnerabilities, and contradictions. Through paint, pen, and written word, she transforms the everyday into moments of magnificence, layering meaning, wit, and emotion into her distinctive style.
Her collaborations with Romy began with the Salamanca Print, inspired by her and founder Emma Petterwood’s shared love of Tasmania. First unveiled in Romy’s debut collection and later reimagined as Salamanca 2.0, the print captured the spirit of the Romy woman—dancing, travelling, and moving through life with playful confidence.
In 2025, Anouk’s artistry returned in a poetic exploration of contrast—where light met shadow, sensuality met strength, and bold femininity took centre stage. Her signature lips motif became a powerful emblem of seduction and play, embodying the mix of whimsy and boldness that makes her work resonate so deeply, mirroring the Romy woman in all her forms.
Jake Pedro is the artist behind Romy’s Resort 25 collection, Vibescent.
Jake’s art brings a bold, expressive energy, blending vibrant colours and rich textures. His works, inspired by the wild spirit of the rodeo, serve as a metaphor for life’s unpredictable ride. With Vibescent, Pedro channels the nostalgic essence of the 1970s, reimagined through his dynamic style.

Loralee Jade is a Tasmanian artist whose paintings delve into the realm of expression beyond the constraints of language.
Her artistic journey is a delicate, intuitive exploration that taps into the wellspring of memory and personal encounters. Through her craft, Jade constructs a captivating visual domain that teeters on the precipice of figuration, yet gracefully morphs into the realm of abstraction.

Shelley Bickerstaff is a local Tasmanian based contemporary artist. Freedom plays a major role in her art, allowing her artistic expressions to unfold without the burden of expectations or pressures, often sketching and designing in the moment.
The concept for the captivating Hip Hills print stemmed from a mindset of being ‘connected to body, grounded by nature’, considering the evocations and resonances of the female form, matching an energy that allows us to be in an unconscious state of flow.
Initially conceived as sketches within Shelley's collection titled
'Bodyscape,' the original ‘Hip Hills’ illustration has seamlessly transformed into a unique printed fabrication that now adorns Romy’s iconic signature pant and shirting set for Resort ’24.
